Dr. Kelsey Greisheim

North Dakota State University

Kelsey Griesheim received her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois -Urbana, Champaign and is currently assistant professor of soil fertility at North Dakota State University (NDSU). Her research has involved numerous published and on-going isotopic field trials to determine the fate of fertilizer N applications in the plant-soil system using 15N as a tracer. In these efforts, she has also worked towards developing wet chemistry techniques for fractionating soil N. In addition to research, Dr. Griesheim teaches Introduction to Soils and Soil Fertility and Fertilizers at NDSU.
