Dr. Andrew Friskop

Associate Professor, North Dakota State University Extension

Dr. Andrew Friskop is an Associate Professor and has served as Cereal Crop Extension Plant Pathologist at North Dakota State University since 2013. He has developed an Extension and applied research program focusing on the management of economically important diseases in hard red spring wheat, durum, barley, oat and corn. He has delivered over 350 Extension presentations with a majority of them focused on management of Fusarium head blight (spring wheat, durum and barley), ergot (spring wheat), bacterial leaf streak (spring wheat), Goss’s wilt (corn), and stalk rots (corn).
