Fertilizer Placement – Hurting or Helping?
Crops need nutrients to grow, with most getting from synthetic fertilizers. However, putting down enough fertilizer at the time of seeding can be challenging. The Bourgault Agronomy team has been looking into how to get down fertilizer safely and efficiently. Comparing in side by side trials, we can see what happens to the crop in different placement scenarios. Most of this work has been done on canola and wheat, with some work being done in pulses.
