Europe’s Agriculture Reforms Have Met Reality
In 2020, the European Union announced major regulatory changes for its agricultural sector. The changes were intended to make farming more environmentally-friendly, and provide a blueprint for other countries on how to change agriculture for the better. Impact assessments, farmer protests and the noticeable disapproval of voters derailed these plans.
