Having graduated with a Master’s degree in International Relations in 1996 from Laval University in Quebec City, Peter began his career working as a Market Analyst with the Canadian Wheat Board for nine years. In that role, he focused on European wheat and durum markets as well as serving as the global barley analyst. In 2005 Peter moved to Pulse Canada as Director of Market Innovation helping develop value added markets for Canadian pulses. He took over the position of Managing Director at the CMBTC in the summer of 2014 and in this role Peter oversees company operations. The CMBTC provides technical and marketing support services to Canada’s barley value chain, focused on developing markets for barley and malt and supporting Canada’s value proposition.
