Nathan Faleide grew up on a small farm in central North Dakota. Beyond farming himself, he also grew up around the company and system his father Lanny Faleide created in 1994 and its product called Satshot which has and still manages, distributes, and analyzes a multitude of different types of imagery products for the agriculture industry.
Beyond Nathan’s imagery and farming background, he also worked extensively in the crop insurance industry for 5 years specializing in bringing precision agricultural data and management practices into the crop risk sector. He continues to run and manage the Satshot product along with working with crop insurance and others in the precision agricultural sector of agriculture production.
His main goal is to help others understand the complexities and realities surrounding the use and practices associated with precision ag data and other mapping methods for agriculture.
