Dr. Nasem Badreldin

Dr. Nasem Badreldin is an assistant professor in digital agronomy at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science at the University of Manitoba. He obtained his doctorate and MSc from Ghent University in Belgium. He worked as a modelling analyst at the Government of Saskatchewan and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for Earth Observation Sciences (CEOS) at the University of Alberta and the Department of Soil Science at the University of Manitoba.

He is an expert in advanced remote sensing technology, machine learning, and big data analytics. He has applied these skills in several national and international research projects focused on land degradation, crop yield production, and precision agriculture.
