Jeanette Gaultier

Jeanette received her Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from the University of Manitoba. She continued her studies at the Universities of Manitoba and Saskatchewan to earn her Ph.D. in Soil & Pesticide Sciences in 2006.

Jeanette spent 9½ years with Manitoba Agriculture; first as their Pesticide Specialist and, more recently, as the Weed Specialist. As Weed Specialist, she worked closely with AAFC and her Manitoba Agriculture and University colleagues to assess over 650 fields for the 2016 weed survey. Jeanette now works for BASF as a Senior Technical Service Specialist.

She and her family live just outside of picturesque Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, where they operate a small strawberry U-pick.
